In a 2008 series of photomontages, Portland, OR artist Eva Lake explores the images of Hollywood starlets and the aim of beauty. While perhaps the delivery is a little reticent of 80s power reactions, the collection is a cohesive statement, revitalizing a form that seems dormant in the age of digital imagery and composition.
